Drinks, Cars, Rock and Roll

you should never mix drink with driving, but on some occasions it works!

Subject 60 Tour

Volvo surprised all of us by coming out as more risqué than boring and safe, with a great mid-week bash at a massive warehouse in central London last week. the night was part of a summer tour which is also visiting Berlin, Madrid, Milan and Paris this month, celebrating the launch of the sporty, fashionable new Volvo S60. We like to keep it international round here, so we headed down to party with the Capital’s fashionistas and wannabes as blogger Facehunter shot up the scene, Swedish starlet Lykke Li gave a great late-night performance, and DJ duo Queens of Noize kept us on the dancefloor.

Here’s Yvan Rodic, alias Facehunter, and the gang living it up.
Look out for the Kareoke Car (why didn’t they call it the Car-eoke? I still don’t get it!) Another friend of ours was also found in one of the other S60′s in the space, a bit worse for wear from the incredible but lethal open bar – having used all the credit on the car’s phone making international calls with his Japanese and Portguese mates! It’s an entirely gimmicky concept, of course – but hey, we’re still talking about it now and somehow we can recall some of the many things that happened. A blessing and a curse that there were so many flash bulbs firing in all directions, I guess…
The naughty but nice volvo S60 is here

World Cup and France

Ok so it was handball, but lets forget about it and lets celebrate the World Cup in style. France are rank outsiders, people are even saying England has more of a chance of lifting the cup, but I doubt that will happen.

Just thought I would post two videos – one for everyone to remember that Thierry Henry is actually one of the best players EVER, and another which has got me very excited about the World Cup. Its an ad for Nike, but it gets the emotions stirring!!

enjoy.
